The house

A private world. A work you watched being made.

The sitting is not an opening. You travel with the artist, you are in the room while the work is born, and the picture you wake up to is that one. The desk is in Houston.

Not a gallery. Not a tour for a crowd.

A gallery solves a sale. A styled house solves a photograph. Neither puts you in the room while a work is being made for the morning you will actually have.

Each artist has a section. You choose who you will travel with. The request is read for fit. Not every sitting is taken, and the ones that are stay private.

When the house itself is the question, the same desk reads the property and the work together. The sitting can stand alone. It can also be the reason a room is worth acquiring.

Who writes

  • A principal

Who wants the work in the house they wake up in, not a picture chosen after the furniture has already lost.

  • An architect

Who wants the art decided with the walls, while the room is still a decision.

  • A collector

Who will travel for the sitting. The point is to watch the work be born, then live with it.

The other three rooms.

Advisory takes the note. The portfolio holds the rooms, and a section for each artist. The journal is where a sitting, or a hold, stays with you.
